Xiaomi Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 China Launch Today: Expected Price, Specs And Feature
NEW DELHI: We're just a couple of weeks into 2019 and Xiaomi seems to kickstart the year by unveiling some smartphones under its popular ‘Redmi’ series. Two of the smartphones that are rumoured to launch soon are the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi 7. These two have been making rounds online in the form of leaks and speculation. However, a day ago Xiaomi’s global spokesperson confirmed the arrival of the new smartphone(s) by posting images of the new ‘Redmi’ branded handsets on Twitter. So while some details are out in the open, some still remain a mystery. Here’s everything we know about the Xiaomi smartphonesXiaomi Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 launchThe two Xiaomi smartphones will be launching in home town China. It is not for sure if or when they will be entering the Indian shores. The prices of the handset are also not yet out. However, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi 7 price tag in all likeliness will be more than the Redmi Note 6 Pro, which costs Rs 13,999 for the base model.
The details on the naming scheme are also scarce at the moment. While some reports are calling it as they Redmi 7 or the Redmi Note 7, some are even calling the smartphones as Xiaomi Redmi X.
Xiaomi Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 confirmed detailsRegardless of what it might be called, what at least is confirmed is the how the handset(s) will look. Xiaomi’s global spokesperson Donovan Sung recently posted three images clearly showing the Xiaomi Redmi 7 or the Redmi Note 7. From the images it can be confirmed that Redmi smartphones in 2019 will adopt a new design, which is flatter and more squarish. There will be dual rear cameras vertically placed on the left corner with considerable bumps, LED flash and vertically printed text confirming another rumoured feature – ‘48MP AI Dual Camera’ A fingerprint sensor can be seen at the centre with a ‘Redmi by Xiaomi’ branding at the bottom. This is new as until now all the Xiaomi Redmi smartphones came with ‘Xiaomi’ branding. This could also be the first handset to debut the separate ‘Redmi’ brand, just like ‘Poco’. Another interesting change here is that the three images showing the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 7/Redmi Note 7 also confirm the debut of gradient colours. Two out of three images and the ones previously spotted on Tenaa listings confirm the devices to come in Blue/Purple and Red/Maroon gradient colours. Xiaomi Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 rumoured specifications The highlight of the smartphone(s) will definitely be the 48MP dual rear camera setup. This is seen both in the photos shared by Sung and also in the teaser image shared by the official MIUI account on Twitter. The Redmi Note 7, as seen on Tenaa listing, is supposed to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 3900mAh battery and 6GB RAM.Latest Mobile And Gadgets Reviews, Specs, Prices,Comparison, Unboxing Videos & Photos | Gadget2buy
